VdU-FCE Delegation Visit

On April 27th - 30th 2023, a B2B networking exchange visit of “Verband deutscher Unternehmerinnen” (the Association of German women entrepreneurs, VdU) took place in Cannes. The delegation was warmly welcomed to the South of France by its French sister association, the “Femmes Chefs d'Entreprises” (FCE) Cannes Côte d'Azur, as well as representatives of the judiciary, the press, the local economy, and politics.

It was the first of a series of Franco-German events leading up to the annual conference of the global association for women entrepreneurs (Femmes Chefs d’Entreprises Mondiales, FCEM).

The aim of the organisers Jana Schmidt and Aline Bricca is to foster future exchanges and stronger business relations between women entrepreneurs from France and Germany.

Amongst the highlights of the trip were visits to the prestigious “Palais des Festivals”, Dior, Parfums Galimard, Confiserie Florian, and a city tour of the old town. The program also included morning yoga, a conference on the "60 Years of the Elysée Treaty" and an evening gala with French, German, Monegasque, and Italian women entrepreneurs.
